Who Makes This?

I’m Drew Cotten.
I make this.

Apple killed Walkie-Talkie on Apple Watch. I wanted to keep talking to my wrist. So I made Wrist Relay.

Then I invited iPhone, iPad and Mac to the party. And added rainbows. And Morse code. Things got a little out of hand.

Hi. Yes, the tombstone was necessary.

A very small operation

An app I wanted.
So I made it.

I make apps to fix things that annoy me. I also make Simply Search, because I wanted a fast, live list of my files and Finder and Spotlight weren’t doing the job.

Wrist Relay comes from the same place. Talking to someone from your wrist is useful. It’s also just fun. I wanted to keep that around and bring it to the rest of my devices.

What matters to me

  • A talk button that’s easy to find and use.
  • Conversations with people you actually know.
  • Colors, sounds and little details that make the app yours.
  • Some people say I add too many features. Too bad!

Tell me what you think.

There’s a person
under all this software.

I don’t have social media accounts. I do have a personal website, where I post photos and writing about my life, work and travels.
