Information Wrist Relay collects
Sign in with Apple provides a private Apple account identifier. Wrist Relay stores that identifier and your selected display name.
The service stores accepted contacts, private invitations, blocks, declined invitations, and session status. It also stores usage totals and entitlement status.
Device registration includes an Apple Push Notification service token, platform, operating-system version, app version, and app build.
A safety report contains both account identifiers, a category, optional text, an optional session identifier, and the report time.
Internal builds can send bounded diagnostic reports after connection, audio, or session-end events. These reports contain technical events, identifiers, counts, times, and signal levels.
Audio
The Apple Watch microphone records only while you hold the talk control after audio is ready.
Wrist Relay sends live audio through its Cloudflare relay. The service does not store speech audio or create conversation recordings.
How Wrist Relay uses information
- Authenticate your account and connect your iPhone and Apple Watch.
- Manage trusted contacts, private invitations, blocks, and reports.
- Send session invitations through Apple Push Notification service.
- Operate live sessions, enforce one-person-at-a-time speaking, and calculate usage.
- Find connection and audio faults during private testing.
- Protect the service from abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts the website, API, database, and live audio relay. Apple provides Sign in with Apple, push notifications, TestFlight, and App Store distribution.
These providers process information for the service under their own security and privacy obligations. Wrist Relay does not sell personal information or use it for advertising.
The public website can use Cloudflare traffic measurements. The private invitation page blocks analytics scripts and does not read the invitation code from the URL fragment.
Retention and deletion
Account and contact information remains until you delete your account. Authentication sessions expire after 90 days.
Inactive device registrations expire after 90 days. Expired invitation records remain for no more than 30 additional days.
Internal diagnostic reports remain for no more than 30 days. Usage records and safety reports can remain for up to two years.
Open iPhone Settings in Wrist Relay and select Delete Account to delete your account and associated server data.
Your choices
You can change microphone and notification permission in Apple system Settings. Some features will not work without the related permission.
You can remove a contact, block a person, dismiss declined-invitation history, sign out, or delete your account in the app.
Children
Wrist Relay is not directed to children under 13. The service does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Policy changes and questions
This page will show a new effective date after a material policy change.
